Solitary
Behind It All
She never told her love,
But let concealment, like a worm i'th' bud,
Feed on her damask cheek. She pined in thought,
And with a green and yellow melancholy
She sat like Patience on a monument,
Smiling at grief. Was not this love indeed?
(Shakespeare, Twelfth Night, 2.4.115-120)

Who would have thought that a team of 6 gorgeous ladies would be able to succeed and bag the 2nd place against 4 competitors each composed of 30+ students and 2 others that were also composed of 6 members just as we were?
Some people I can name did.
Astonishing! Hearing Sir Velez announce our section as the second placer was just breath-taking! I am overjoyed with this triumph. All our sleepless nights, especially the memorable Thursday night at Jessa’s place, as well as the mind-squeezing coming up of ideas, concepts and visuals all paid off. Ah, what would have happened if we didn’t get through all these? Let’s not visualize. No imaginations needed.
I’m just very grateful that the Advocacy Ad Competition has ended, with us bagging the 2ndplace. I could not get over this triumph so easily. A week of preparation was much of a hell experience; therefore this triumph isn’t that easy to forget, I swear.
Thanks to my ever - supportive, sweet, huggable, kissable, cool and frozen classmates!
To my colleagues:
Annama – for being intellectual and hardworking
Andrea – for being enduring and hardworking
Kaypee – for (as our classmates said) looking good and for being hardworking
Shobe - for trying real hard to express your part and for being hardworking
Badet (and your laptop, Marie Claire) – for pressing the buttons on Marie Claire and for a sexy pose while doing it and for being hardworking … THANK YOU and CONGRATULATIONS to us!!!!
When you get old and married, with whatever number of kids you make, don’t forget : “THINK BABY, THINK MILK” !!! HAHAHA
Warm hugs and kisses. <3
